The first part of the 20th century saw a renewal of interest in the art of woodblock printing in Japan. Kawase Hasui was a towering figure in this movement. He became known for his evocative landscapes that reflected his travels throughout his home country. In this tour, we will explore Hasui’s art and his muse, Japan, while also learning about his process and life.
