Georgia O’Keeffe and Henry Moore were uncannily similar in their pursuit of natural forms: bones and stones, shells; the unity of the female body with nature. They independently sought and were inspired by the organic roots of modern abstraction, half a world away from each other. This tour will explore these artists’ works and the connection between the themes in which they were engaged, comparing their working methods, exploration of found objects, and the juxtaposition of unlikely forms.
