Guided gentle breathing, movement, meditation and sound in the Museum galleries.
Step into wellness with Yoga Deck instructors inside the Museum galleries. During this special wellness workshop, be briefly introduced to relevant works of art in the Museum galleries and then led through a two-hour wellness experience designed by Yoga Deck instructors.
Explore breathing exercises, gentle movement poses, guided meditation, sound healing, and personal reflection within the immersive surroundings of the Museum’s art galleries before the Museum opens to the public. This workshop seeks to expand meditative wellness practices through intersecting with the nourishment of art.
Limited long-hold gentle poses. Pressure may be put on knees, hips, spine, and shoulders; modifications will be offered. All levels welcome.
Participants should bring:
- Yoga mat (limited number available on site)
- Blanket or meditation cushion is optional but encouraged
$30 members | $40 nonmembers
