Behind the Sculpture Court is the May S. Marcy Sculpture Garden. The garden features lush landscaping and picturesque views of the California Tower and San Diego sunsets, and is abundant with twentieth-century sculptures. The garden has a large and versatile lawn that can accommodate presentations, ceremonies, alfresco film, receptions, and seated meals.
The May S. Marcy Sculpture Garden is available for private, socially distanced wedding ceremonies. The San Diego Museum of Art is proud to be partnering with PEP Creative to bring beautiful, safe, and stress-free wedding ceremonies. The Sculpture Garden is open daily 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. when private events are not occurring. Entry is free, masks are required. No food or drink is allowed inside the Sculpture Garden.
