Behind the Sculpture Court is the May S. Marcy Sculpture Garden. The garden features lush landscaping and picturesque views of the California Tower and San Diego sunsets, and is abundant with nineteenth- and twentieth-century sculpture. The garden has a large and versatile lawn that can accommodate presentations, ceremonies, alfresco film, receptions, and seated meals.
The May S. Marcy Sculpture Garden is available for private, socially distanced wedding ceremonies. The San Diego Museum of Art is proud to be partnering with PEP Creative to bring beautiful, safe, and stress-free wedding ceremonies. Learn more and contact the Special Events office at firstname.lastname@example.org to secure your date.
The Sculpture Garden is temporarily closed due an increase in COVID-19 cases in San Diego and across Southern California and implementation of the state’s regional stay-at-home order. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Museum when state and county officials deem it safe to gather together once more.
