Join us for a weekend of celebration focused on our member community!

Enjoy special behind-the-scenes access, perks, and programming during Member Appreciation Weekend. Throughout the weekend, members are invited to learn more about the Museum’s collection during special docent tours and enjoy special member perks. Members are will also receive an extra 10% discount at The Museum Store (for a total of 20% off your purchase) throughout Member Appreciation Weekend and have the chance to meet two artists showcasing their products at the Store. Meet other members over coffee in the Library and Archives on Saturday, and say hello to the membership team, who will be on hand to answer any questions about membership and the Museum. Don’t miss this special event and the final weekend of Sergio Hernández: Embers of Oaxaca and Chapel of the Rocks. Use your guest passes to bring a guest for the day!

During Member Appreciation Weekend, The Museum Store is offering an additional 10% discount (total of 20% off your purchase) for all members. Get your shopping list ready by visiting The Museum Store website here. Plus, local artists Bea Roberts and Ginger Lou will be at The Museum Store showcasing their textiles and jewelry.

  Stop by the membership table to spin the wheel and get some prizes! The membership team will be on site to answer any questions about membership and the Museum.
• Join a Guided Docent tour!
  Highly trained Museum docents are offering multiple guided tours each day, and we’ve added a few tours especially for Member Appreciation Weekend. Each tour lasts approximately 40-50 minutes. No pre-registration required, but space may be limited. Meet your tour guide at the Docent desk in the Rotunda prior to the posted tour time.

• The Art of Ginger Lou at The Museum Store
  San Diego artist and designer, Ginger Lou will be making her Museum Store debut with her new art of flowers-inspired jewelry line. If you enjoy being immersed in floral artwork then you will love her earrings, pendants and necklaces. Ginger will be at The Museum Store in person to share her inspiration and present her hand-made, nature inspired objects d’art with you. See more examples of her work at her website.
