Drawing inspiration from the Museum’s exhibition Bouguereau & America, this edition of Portraits in Jazz turns the spotlight onto the compositions and influence of French jazz greats, including composer Michel Legrand and vocalist Édith Piaf. Series curator Gilbert Castellanos invites an all-star ensemble to join him onstage for a musical night to remember and will debut original compositions inspired by the Museum’s exhibition.
