Join Courtly Noyse performers and La Jolla Renaissance Singers for a holiday concert of lively Renaissance and Medieval music surrounded by the Museum’s collection of Renaissance and Baroque masterpieces in Art of Devotion, upstairs in Gallery 16.
Courtly Noyse is a six-person vocal and instrumental ensemble donning Renaissance apparel and playing replica instruments from the period. La Jolla Renaissance Singers is an a cappella choir performing music written during the Middle Ages through the Renaissance, with occasional forays into the Romantic and Modern periods. Hear both groups perform a full set of classic songs and carols with traditional Renaissance instruments and soaring vocals.
