In celebration of the Museum’s summer exhibition Epic Tales from Ancient India, this year’s Screen on the Green lineup is a selection of critically acclaimed films that present compelling, multifaceted stories featuring Indian artists, filmmakers, and actors.

Paheli: Filled with the color, music, and dazzle that audiences have come to expect from popular Bollywood cinema, Paheli adapts a Rajasthani folktale about a lonely ghost who impersonates the absentee husband of a neglected bride, starring Bollywood icons Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukherjee.
