This popular series returns with Gilbert Castellanos and a special lineup of guest musicians performing the best of “West Coast Jazz!” The night features a stellar program of music composed by Dave Brubeck, Charles Mingus, Gerry Mulligan, Chet Baker, and more.

The performances are preceded by an informative talk starting 7:30 p.m. by Ken Poston, KSDS Jazz 88.3 General Manager, Jazz Historian & Founder/Director of the Los Angeles Jazz Institute, who will share insights and stories about the West Coast jazz icons and their unique styles that gave birth to a new sound.
