Premiere Dinner Fine Dining

Set within a special installation of the world-renowned Edwin Binney 3rd Collection, the Premiere Dinner menu will celebrate the magnificent art of India in a stunning collaboration between longtime partner Chef Barry Layne of Coast Catering and Chef Saransh Oberoi. Coast Catering has been at the culinary helm of the Premiere Dinner since 2015 and has wowed attendees year over year with their commitment to menu creativity and unmatched quality. Chef Layne has operated Coast Catering with excellence since 2005 and has been rated one of San Diego’s top caterers ever since. Chef Layne was previously Executive Chef at Delicias in Rancho Santa Fe for 10 years and has worked as a private chef for celebrities and high-end clientele from San Diego to Beverly Hills to Big Sur.

This year, we also welcome Chef Saransh Oberoi working alongside the Coast team to offer his expertise in Indian cuisine. Chef Oberoi grew up in the culinary world working with his father, Chef Hemant Oberoi, who is a legend in India and has cooked for dignities from across the world. Chef Saransh Oberoi has a degree from the Culinary Institute of America in New York, and has worked in London, New York, DC, San Francisco, Mumbai, Sydney, and as the sous chef of Campton Place SF. Chef Saransh Oberoi also showcased his culinary skills on “Beat Bobby Flay” in 2020 and is now chef at Curry & More Indian Bistro.
