The fashion industry in Africa informs not only what people wear but also contemporary expressions in art, film, and video. Dr. Peri Klemm, professor of African art history at California State University, Northridge, will present an illustrated lecture on current trends in African fashion drawing largely on contemporary art and the movie Black Panther.
