Art of Elan’s 14th season of concerts at SDMA opens with “Reflections,” a thought-provoking cinematic program that explores the bizarre and complex world of twins and multiples as viewed through the lens of photographer and documentarian Mary Ellen Mark. In a concert-length film, Art of Elan transforms the Museum into a creative playground, activating different galleries with music, dancers, and a variety of unique reflections. Featured artists include Kate Hatmaker on violin; marimba virtuosos James Beauton, Greg Cohen, and Andrew Watkins; and dancers from Disco Riot.
