Dr. Denise Rogers, Professor of Art History at San Diego Mesa College, will discuss emerging Black artists who explore the complexities of Blackness and artistic expression. The talk will highlight how these artists celebrate culture, community, and spirituality in their individual artistic practices to combat social injustices.
