Over the course of five years (2013–17), multidisciplinary project Borderlines explored the commonalities between the South Asian borders of Bangladesh, India, and Pakistan and the US–Mexico border. Writer/artist Sehba Sarwar shares the history as well as images and text from the project, which included visual art installations and performances in residential homes, film screenings, and community workshops, and culminated in three publications that feature art and writings by contributors from North America and South Asia.
